15th Annual Little River Trail Runs January 11, 2020

Monday, January 6th, 2020 at 8:11 am

The 15th annual Little River Trail Runs take place on January 11, 2020.

*New for 2020* We will offer a 20-Mile course in addition to the usual 10-mile and 7-km distance options. All races are run on the lovely single track trails at Little River Regional Park. The race is presented and staffed by the TrailHeads, a volunteer group of trail running enthusiasts.

Race proceeds benefit Little River Regional Park. Over the last 14 years, our event has raised over $100,000 in donations to the Park, as well as donations to Triangle Off Road Cyclists (for trail building in the park) and NC Green Power (for carbon offsets). Please help us to continue to support Little River Regional Park and local single track trails.

Start Times: 20-Mile @ 7:00am, 10-Mile @ 9:00am, 7-Km @ 9:30am.

Additional race information can be found at http://www.trailheads.org/lrtr/.

Please note: there is a 5.5 hour time limit for the 20-Mile event. 20M runners arriving at the 10-Mile aid station after 9:35am will not be permitted to continue on the course.

Race registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. We do allow registered runners to switch between distances (for instance, from 10 mile to 7km), but all changes must be made by Wednesday, January 8. (No race day changes!)

Race shirts: Sizing is guaranteed for runners who register by December 15, 2019. After that time, you will receive a race shirt, but we may not have your preferred size available. *Please note that race shirt sizing runs small, especially for women, so you may want to size up!
