2013 Mutt Strut

The Greenville Humane Society and Papa John’s announce the Second Annual ‘Mutt Strut’ 5K Run/Walk taking place on Saturday, August 24, 2013. This event invites individuals, families, competitive athletes and leisurely strollers, and their dogs to participate in the fundraiser that will lead them along the Swamp Rabbit Trail and through Cleveland Park in Greenville, SC.

Glow in the Night 5k

You will get completely covered in glowrific color dust with friends, family and silly strangers, while focusing more on the different color fun and participating in the three mile course, at night, under the cool glow of black lights.

The Bobcat Scorcher, organized by the Palmetto Running Company,  offers racers a fast, spectator friendly course and fun after party.  Our famous tie-dye t-shirts will be available to all early registrants, and custom medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age division.


Wild Fish One & Two Mile Swim

This swim event has been very successful with about 200 swimmers. It is a great swim in a calm ocean water cove. Even in a hurricane the water will be swimmable. In fact, in 2004 we ran the event in between two hurricanes and it went great! We had over 40 swimmers who braved out the weather.



Tour de Peninsula

The San Mateo County Parks Foundation, TdP Honorary Chairman Supervisor Carole Groom, and Honorary Tour Host and Dirty Shirt legend Mark Simon welcome you to the Tour de Peninsula, a perennial highlight of the Bay Area’s social calendar for outdoor recreationists. This family ride offers a variety of bicycle routes on beautiful courses designed to suit everyone from young children and first time riders to serious cyclists. After the rides, a day of family fun activities takes place in Coyote Point Park, which contains an award-winning children’s playground, CuriOdyssey, barbecuing and picnic facilities and live entertainment by the ‘Tribal Blues Band’.
