Come to the beach and show your Warrior Love on Feb 7th, 2016! This race is a fundraiser for our 4th and 5th grade girls running club. The S.H.E. Warriors promotes self confidence, friendship, and health while training for local 5k and 10k races. We are raising funds to continue our program, bringing health and love to more girls in our community.
Resolution Run 2 Miler

The 5th Annual Resolution Run 2 Miler will be held New Year’s Day at the Greene County Tech High School starting at 11:00 AM. This is a flat and fast out and back 2 mile course starting and finishing at GCT High School whilerunning through Carriage Hills Subdivision. All Proceeds wil be going to Paragould’s Mission Outreach. Come out, have a good time and support a worthy cause. Entry Fee $20. Those 15 and under only $10.
5K Reindeer Run

Join The Williams YMCA of Avery County for our 5K Reindeer Run! This 3.1 mile race is fun for everyone, bring the whole family! You may run, jog or walk the course, whatever pace you choose. Be prepared for sun, wind, rain or snow, it’s December in the mountains! The 5K Reindeer Run begins and ends at the Crossnore School gymnasium. The course is mostly paved but includes some trail and gravel paths. Prizes will be given to the most festively dressed participant and the top finishers. After the race stay for the Blitzen Bash and Silent Auction!
2015 Dixon Downtown Dash

This years event will begin at the Old Dixon High School. Registration opens at 8, race times begin at 9am, 9:30 and 10:30am for the 1K. There will be a 5K/ 10K and kids run with professional timing.
This is a joint partnership with Downtown Dixon Business Association and The Dixon High School Cross Country Team. Proceeds will go toward the DDBA and local charities.

3rd Annual Pee Dee Coalition

Join us for a day of action and awareness in honor of victims and survivors of relationship violence in our community. The Pee Dee Coalition’s 3rd annual Breaking Free 5K/15K walk-run for Domestic Violence Awareness features t-shirts and goodie bags to the first 250 registrants, water stations along the route, postrace refreshments, an awards ceremony and special speakers. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Our goal is to raise awareness of the impact of domestic violence in the Pee Dee and to raise funds to support much needed services for local victims and their families.
